One of the nuns involved in a lengthy legal battle involving Katy Perry's attempted purchase of an L.A. convent, collapsed and died during a court appearance on Friday.
Sister Catherine Rose Holzman was 89 years old.

She and the Sisters of the Most Holy and Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary had tried to sell the property to real estate developer Dana Hollister in 2015 without the approval of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Los Angeles, who had accepted an offer of $14.5 million (all figures U.S.) from Perry.
Earlier this year, a judge ruled the nuns had no right to try to sell the convent.
Perry and the archbishop were awarded $10 million in December by a jury that found Hollister acted with malice to block the pop star’s purchase.
Hours before her death, Holzman told Fox News: "We asked [Hollister] to save us, to buy the property. She had nothing to do with forcing herself on us."
