Sharon Osbourne says a planned Ozzy Osbourne biopic will be “an adult movie for adults.”
The outspoken wife of the metal legend promised the film will be more authentic than the 2018 Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
“I don’t think it was a great movie,” she told Rolling Stone. “They changed the timing [of the story] and everything in it. That’s why it was, like, made ‘nice’ and that’s what made it a Hallmark movie.
“Our film will be a lot more real. We don’t want it to be squeaky, shiny clean and all of that. We’re not making it for kids. It’s an adult movie for adults.”
According to the couple’s son Jack Osbourne, the film is in the “very, very early” stages. “We have a writer,” he said. “We said to go from 1979 to 1996.”
