Ozzy Osbourne pulled the plug on his UK and European tour.
“I’m completely devastated,” the 70-year-old rocker said, in a statement. “It just seems that since October, everything I touch has turned to s**t. First, the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis.”
Osbourne was due to kick off the 16-date leg of his No More Tours 2 trek with Judas Priest tonight in Dublin.
“I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down,” he said. “However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September. Again, I apologize to everyone.”
Osbourne is scheduled to bring the tour to four Canadian cities – Montreal, Hamilton, Edmonton and Vancouver – this summer.
