P!nk called for people to be nicer to each other while accepting the People's Champion award at Sunday's E! People's Choice Awards.
"Kindness today is an act of rebellion,” the singer said. "There are people who don’t have what you have – help them get it. There is a planet that needs help. It feels good to help. It feels powerful to help.
“Stop fighting each other and help each other. Get together with your friends and change the f**king world.”
P!nk said she knows one person can make a difference. “You feel like you don’t matter, you feel like your life doesn’t matter? Get involved … I am a dumbass derelict from Doylestown and I have managed to change a little part in my little world."
Canada’s Shawn Mendes was chosen as Male Artist of 2019 at the fan-voted show, where winners are notified in advance. (The singer did not attend because he is on tour.)
