P!nk signalled on Wednesday that she is ready to play nurse to her husband Carey Hart, who is recovering from surgery.
“My man baby,” the pop star captioned a photo of Hart in a hospital bed. “I love him so much. Successful surgery and now, let the healing begin.” She included the hashtag “#nurseratchetwillseeyounow” – a reference to the antagonist in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
Hart, 40, underwent surgery on his left rotator cuff – a group of muscles and tendons around the shoulder joint.
He shared the same photo on Instagram. “Surgery was a success!!! Thanks so much to my amazing wife and nurse, @pink . She is my rock when I’m banged up. Time to get on the mend.”
Last year, P!nk credited couples counselling for her marriage. "It’s the only reason we’re still together,” she said on Today. The couple were married in January 2006.
