Five years after admitting he's attracted to men, Panic! at the Disco singer Brendon Urie is now labelling himself as pansexual.
“I'm married to a woman and I'm very much in love with her but I'm not opposed to a man because to me, I like a person,” Urie told Paper magazine. “Yeah I guess you could qualify me as pansexual because I really don't care. If a person is great, then a person is great. I just like good people, if your heart's in the right place.
“I'm definitely attracted to men. It's just people that I am attracted to. I guess this is me coming out as pansexual."
Pansexuality is defined as an attraction to people regardless of their sex or gender identity.
Though Urie's comments went viral on Friday, they are nothing new.
In a 2013 interview with Pride Source, Urie said: “I find myself being attracted to dudes all the time. I’m like, ‘Wow, that’s a beautiful man.’ There’s no shame in it. That’s how I feel.
“To stifle that would probably bring on stress and probably make somebody homophobic.”

Urie married Sarah Orzechowski in April 2013. “She’s attracted to girls, and I think some men are extremely attractive,” he said. “I have no shame in it.”
Urie said he was proud that Panic! at the Disco’s “Girls/Girls/Boys” became a bisexual anthem.
“I feel like [bisexuality] needs to be celebrated, because a lot of times I feel like people are ashamed and they hide it and they might be a little scared to open up about it.
“Being able to do that is a big step for me.”
In a September 2014 interview with Advocate, Urie said he “has a lot of respect” for people who are honest about sexual fluidity. "I feel like it should be celebrated. There’s no shame in it.
"And if I can help shed some light on that fact, then great.”
Urie has also been a longtime advocate for LGBT equality and recently pledged $1 million U.S. through his Highest Hopes Foundation to support gay-straight alliances at high schools across the U.S.
