Paramore singer Hayley Williams revealed this past weekend that she is planning to release some solo material early in the new year.
“I’m putting out some new music next year,” the 31-year-old singer tweeted an image with struck-through text. “With the help of some of my closest friends, I made something I’m going to call my own.
“It’s a really special project and you’ll get a taste of it in January.”
Williams did not share any further details so it’s not known if she is dropping a full album.

In August, the singer told ET she doesn’t know what’s next for Paramore, whose fifth and most recent album was 2017’s After Laughter.
“The guys [Taylor York, Zak Pharro] and I just had dinner the other night at my house, and I think we're just really enjoying being friends and adult human beings at home by ourselves, without music,” she said.
Williams has never previously lent her voice to tracks by the likes of B.o.B. (“Airplanes”), Zedd (“Stay the Night”) and Chvrches (“Bury It”).
