David Bowie will have a street named after him in the city of Paris, France next week.
On Monday, January 8, French officials will unveil Rue David Bowie in Paris' 13th arrondissement on the Left Bank.
The honour falls on what would have been the late musician's 77th birthday, eight years after his death from liver cancer on January 10, 2016.
According to Le Monde, renaming the 50-metre-long route comes as a makeover for the Left Bank neighbourhood. The stretch was previously known to city planners as "VoieDZ/13," which resembles Bowie's track "TVC15" from his Station To Station album.
France wasn't known to play a major part of Bowie's career, like Germany, the UK or even U.S., but he did record parts of 1977's Low at Château d'Hérouville and recorded a version of his hit song "Heroes" in French.
