Fans of Pearl Jam snatched up every bottle of the band’s limited edition red wine in a matter of minutes.
Priced at $150 (all figures U.S.), the boxed set of four bottles of Syrah/Cabernet, was offered via Pearl Jam’s newsletter. Only 450 boxes were available, with proceeds going to the band’s Vitalogy Foundation.
The bottles featured labels depicting the skylines of Boston, Chicago, Seattle and Missoula, Montana – cities on Pearl Jam’s Home x Away tour.
The wine raised $67,500.
