Pet Shop Boys will see a resurgence as CATALOGUE: 1985-2012, a collection of the iconic band's reissues of their first 11 studio albums released via Parlophone Records, will drop on June 28, as per a press release, which was sent out on Tuesday (June 13).
According to the announcement, each of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe's albums released on the label will be "remastered and accompanied by 'further listening' albums of master quality bonus tracks, and demos created in the same period of time as each album, as well as Pet Shop Boys' own remixes of their tracks." Among some of those bonus tracks include previously unreleased material. If that wasn't enough, each LP will be packaged alongside an extensive book, which sees Tennant and Lowe discussing each track.
CATALOGUE: 1985-2012 was designed by Farrow Design and begins with Nightlife, Release, and Fundamental. They'll include a 180-gram vinyl, as well as a CD and digital download. The PSB's reissues will continue over the next year until all their LPs via Parlophone have been released with "further listening" albums. Pre-order for the collection is available now, with a track called "For All Of Us" from the Nightlife/ Further Listening sessions available as an immediate download.
