Post Malone is set to star - and likely beat someone up - in the forthcoming remake of Road House.
An update of the 1989 Patrick Swayze film of the same name, Road House stars Jake Gyllenhaal as an "ex-UFC fighter who takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems."
Other than the name of his character - Carter - Posty's role has not been identified yet, however, in the promotional image released by Prime Video he appears to be a fellow bouncer or roughhouser who might end up getting bounced by the star.
Gyllenhaal has praised the musician on Instagram, posting a selfie of the two of them with the caption, "A man of many talents. To say it was a pleasure working together is an understatement. Welcome to the #roadhouse @postmalone !"
Post Malone is no stranger to acting. He has previously appeared in Spenser Confidential alongside Mark Wahlberg, Wrath of Man with Jason Statham and voiced a mutant mantaray in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. According to his IMDb page, he will also appear in Dear Santa next Christmas, where Jack Black plays Satan, and Jennifer Lopez's new Prime Video feature, This Is Me…Now: The Film.
Road House hits Prime Video on March 21.
