Post Malone has topped himself to set a new record for the most weeks in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The rapper’s hit “Circles” is No. 6 on the Hot 100 chart dated May 2, marking its 34th week in the top 10.

“Circles” surpasses “Sunflower,” Malone's 2018 collaboration with Swae Lee, which was tied with “Girls Like You” by Maroon 5 ft. Cardi B. and Ed Sheeran's “Shape of You” at 33 weeks.

According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, “Circles” has had 732 million streams and 457,000 downloads in the U.S.

The song is at the centre of a legal battle between Malone and Canadian musician Tyler Armes, who alleges he was cheated out of a songwriting credit and a share of the royalties. Malone’s team has called Armes’ lawsuit “utterly baseless.”
