The debut album by Billy Talent, who previously recorded under the name Pezz, is set to get a reissue from Dine Alone Records.
Originally released in 1999, Watoosh! was recorded by all four members of Billy Talent - Benjamin Kowalewicz, Ian D'Sa, Jonathan Gallant, and Aaron Solowoniuk - who at the time were named after the plastic-dispensed candy and leaned more towards ska and pop-punk than the frenetic hard rock sound they play today.
Previously unavailable for nearly 20 years, Dine Alone is set to reissue a remastered version of the album for its 25th anniversary, and finally make it available on all streaming platforms on May 31. A vinyl release will follow later this year.
The album will be preceded by first single "M&M" on May 17.
Who knows? Maybe the band will dust that one off and play it this summer when they headline All Your Friends Fest in August with Fall Out Boy.
