Korean pop star Psy took to social media on Saturday to mark a milestone.
“‘Gangnam Style’ got 3 billion views!! THX,” Psy wrote.
Although his 2012 single was the first music video to hit 1 billion, it remains the third-most viewed, behind Luis Fonsi’s original mix of “Despacito” ft. Daddy Yankee (currently at 4.4 billion) and Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” ft. Charlie Puth (3.2 billion).
On average, "Gangnam Style" has been viewed more than 1.5 million times a day since it debuted on YouTube.
