Rage Against the Machine is coming to Canada.
Zack de la Rocha, Tim Commerford, Tom Morello and Brad Wilk, who haven’t performed together since 2011, announced on Monday a full tour following their previously-announced reunion shows in March and April.
RATM hasn’t forgotten about their Canadian fans. The band will stop in Vancouver on May 1, Edmonton on May 3, Calgary on May 5, Winnipeg on May 7 and then in Hamilton on July 21 and Toronto on July 23. Run the Jewels will be the opening act. Tickets go on sale Feb. 13 at 11 am local time.
In addition to those arena shows, RATM will play Ottawa’s Bluefest on July 17 and Quebec City’s Summer Festival on July 18.
Rage Against the Machine broke up in 2000 but reunited several times over the years for live shows. The band hasn’t released a studio album since 2000’s Renegades.
