Rapper Logic said Thursday he is stepping away from music to focus on fatherhood.
The 30-year-old announced via social media that his sixth studio album No Pressure, out July 24, will be his last.
“Officially announcing my retirement with the release of No Pressure,” he wrote. “It’s been a great decade. Now it’s time to be a great father.”
Logic, whose real name is Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, welcomed a son late last year with his second wife Brittney Noell.
He made his debut in 2010 with the mixtape Young, Broke & Infamous and released his debut album Under Pressure in 2014. His biggest hits were last year’s “Homicide” ft. Eminem and 2017’s “1-800-273-8255” ft. Alessia Cara and Khalid. Logic was nominated for two Grammys in 2018.
Logic last performed in Canada during his 2019 The Confessions of a Dangerous Mind Tour, which included stops in Vancouver, Windsor, Ont. and Toronto.
