Rapper T.I. was busted early Wednesday for alleged disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
The music star, whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., was arrested in Atlanta at around 4 a.m. after an altercation with a security guard at the gated community where he lives.
In a statement, his lawyer said the guard refused to allow T.I. entry "without justification" and called police, who "were not interested in hearing [his] side of the story." The lawyer said T.I. was "wrongfully arrested."
Police also arrested a friend of T.I. who had an outstanding warrant.
According to WSB-TV Atlanta, T.I. was released on bond.
