Reba McEntire has confirmed she is dating actor Rex Linn.
“It’s good to have a person to talk to, laugh with, get into subjects about what’s going on,” McEntire, 65, said on her podcast Living & Learning. “Discussions about our past, our family, funny stories, him being an actor, me being an actress. And he’s very into my music. I’m very into his career.”
Linn, 63, shared a photo of the couple on a dinner date back in January on Instagram. "Had a fantastic dinner with this Oklahoma girl," he captioned it. "Tater Tots and Ketchup included."
Linn is perhaps best known for playing Sgt. Frank Tripp on CSI: Miami and has more recently shown up on Better Call Saul and as Principal Petersen on Young Sheldon. (McEntire had a guest role on Young Sheldon last season as the ex-girlfriend of Craig T. Nelson's character Dale – and McEntire's pdocast co-host Melissa Peterman also has a recurring role on the series.)
“I look forward to having more things to look forward to,” McEntire said.
The singer was divorced from Narvel Blackstock in 2015 after 26 years of marriage and was previously married to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987. Prior to Linn, McEntire had a nearly two-year relationship with Anthony “Skeeter” Lasuzzo.
