Rihanna and Missy Elliott are helping raise awareness about a search for their former backup dancer Shirlene Quigley, who has been missing since early Sunday.
On Monday, Rihanna took to Instagram. "This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!!" she wrote. "My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her! If anyone has seen or has any information on @shirlenequigley's whereabouts ..... PLEASE CONTACT the North Bergen Police Department 201 392 2100 !!!!"
Elliott also posted an appeal on Instagram. "Need help from the whole Dance Community to spread the word! Those who have met her know her spirit is always bubbly and kind & uplifting energy! Sending countless prayers"
Quigley, who has also previously worked with Beyoncé, was seen leaving her New Jersey home on Saturday and then getting on a bus at New York's Port Authority Bus Terminal around 1 a.m. on Sunday, according to NBC.
When her father didn't receive his nightly phone call from his 32-year-old daughter, he grew concerned.
Authorities report that her car, a 2006 Silver Mercedes C230, has been found near her dance studio and her phone has surfaced at a bridal store in Chelsea. Quigley's father reportedly said that his daughter recently made a strange comment to her friend. "Get ready, it's about to happen and I'm going to need you to sub for me."
Quigley got her big break when the then-18-year-old danced in Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" video, before later appearing in music videos for Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx and Ashanti.
