Rihanna has shared a small detail about her highly anticipated follow-up to 2016’s ANTI.
“I’m so excited actually. I can’t say who I’m working with, but it’s somebody I’ve been wanting to work with him for a long time,” the singer told The Cut. "Okay, I’ll tell you. Pharrell.”
Rihanna is referring, of course, to Pharrell Williams. He has previously produced tracks for female artists like Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus and Gloria Estefan.
Asked recently about when fans will hear new music, Rihanna told ET: “To be continued…”
She added: “I like to antagonize my fans a little bit. Well, they antagonize me, too! So, they get it right back.”
Rihanna has been slow to put out her ninth studio album because she has been focused on her Fenty beauty line and Savage X Fenty lingerie collection.
