If you were expecting new music from Rihanna in the near future, you're in luck because the pop titan has a new single on the way, according to Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw.
During Radio 1's Big Weekend, the personality spilled the beans to The Daily Star. “I heard she’s got new music soon,” he said, before revealing some details on the release date. "Well, I don’t know… it’s the end of the year," he added. Grimshaw's revelation comes after recent news that two new tracks by the singer were registered with ASCAP: "Phatty" featuring Buju Banton and "Only One Who Knows."
Fun fact: Today marks the 10 year anniversary of the release of Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad LP, which spawned major hits "Umbrella" and "Don't Stop the Music." If Grimshaw's Rihanna tip is correct, her next LP will be the pop titan's 9th studio album, following 2016's Anti.
