The two surviving members of the Beatles came together Sunday to record new music.
Ringo Starr shared photos on social media showing he and Paul McCartney together in a recording studio.
“Thanks for coming over and playing Great bass,” Starr, 76, tweeted. “I love you man peace and love.”
In one pic, Joe Walsh joins the pair. “What a day I’m having,” Starr wrote.
McCartney, 74, is one of the musicians featured on Starr’s upcoming album, a follow-up to 2015’s Postcard From Paradise.
The pair haven’t collaborated in a studio since Starr’s 2010 release Y Not.
