Ed Sheeran is one of the biggest pop powerhouse acts out right now and it looks like he's going to attempt to reboot the music career of none other than Rita Ora, as confirmed in a recent Instagram update from the starlet.
Despite numerous claims that her new single would drop in April, that due date has come and gone, but the wait for new Ora might just be worth it. On Thursday (May 4), the singer/actress took to IG to share a video of the pair in the studio together.
Ora and Sheeran have a brief history together, considering the Brit singer/songwriter penned a track titled "Us" for the singer. Unfortunately, the cut was set to be included on her second album released via Roc Nation, but was shelved due to legal reasons.
Among the other collaborators reportedly set for the pop star's new album include Stargate, Nile Rodgers and maybe even Marshmello.
Ora previously spoke about her forthcoming LP with SHAPE magazine. "Of everything I’ve accomplished, I’m proudest of my new album," she said of the project. "It's going to shock people. I think it’ll be like, ‘Wow, I didn’t know she had those emotions.’ Because I don’t think they really know me....They see pictures of me, they watch me on TV, but I try to keep my personal life as private as possible, and I don’t post pictures of who I’m seeing. On this album, though, I say things I think people have been wanting to know. But it’s done in a moving-forward way. It’s a positive, uplifting album."
