Robbie Williams announced Tuesday that is releasing a new collection of previously unheard songs later this summer.
Under the Radar Volume 2 follows the 2014 release of Under the Radar, which featured demos, B-sides and other rarities from the British pop star’s solo career.
In a video message, Williams said the new album is “a collaboration of songs that I’m extremely proud of that didn’t make the previous featured albums.
“They should’ve done… because they’re amazing, but you can get lost in an alleyway of ‘I’ve got to write a hit or everybody dies!’ Lots of great songs go missing when you’re in that frame of mind.”
The cover of Under the Radar Volume 2 is just as cheeky as the first compilation: It shows Williams climbing a tree naked. (The first cover had him jumping naked into a pool.)
“Over the summer I will be exciting you with videos from thus project,” Williams promised, “and pleasuring you with performances from the album.”
The 43-year-old former Take That member has released 11 studio albums, one live album, and seven compilations.
