British pop star Robbie Williams has revealed he could have lost his head while in Haiti in 2010.

In a conversation on wife Ayda’s Postcards from the Edge podcast, the 46-year-old "Angels" singer recalled: “I got threatened to be beheaded in Haiti.”

Williams, formerly of Take That, and his wife were in the port town of Jacmel for two days following the devastating 2010 earthquake as part of a UNICEF relief mission.

“We were going out there to help and this is what you get,” he said. “When we were threatened to be beheaded… I was like, ‘Should we go to the next street then?’

    “Looking back, it was scary.”
