The Rolling Stones are bumping up their weekend concert in Miami due to Hurricane Dorian.
On Thursday afternoon, Dorian was classified as a Category 4 hurricane and expected to make landfall by Monday morning. Heavy rain is likely over the weekend.
“Due to the weather forecast, the Rolling Stones show scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Hard Rock Stadium has been moved to tomorrow night, Friday, Aug. 30,” read a statement from the band on social media.
Fans who can’t get to the show a day earlier can get refunds.
The Miami show is the last stop on the Stones’ No Filter Tour, which was supposed to kick off there on April 20. It was postponed when Mick Jagger was admitted to hospital for a heart valve procedure.
Scheduled opening act Juanes will not be performing Friday.
Due to the weather forecast, the Rolling Stones Hard Rock Stadium show scheduled for Sat Aug 31 has been moved to tomorrow night, Fri Aug 30. All tickets will be honored for the new date. There will be no opening act-doors will open at 6PM ET & the Stones will go on at 8:30PM ET.
