The Rolling Stones on Tuesday postponed their 15-city North American tour due to the global threat of COVID-19.
“We’re hugely disappointed to have to postpone the tour,” read a statement from the band, which was scheduled to bring the No Filter Tour to Vancouver on May 12.
“We are very sorry to all the fans who were looking forward to it as much as we were, but the health and safety of everyone has to take priority.”
The four members of the Rolling Stones range in age from 72 to 78.
“We will all get through this together – and we’ll see you very soon,” the statement read.
No rescheduled dates were announced but tour promoter AEG asked fans to hold on to their tickets.
