After three years together, Latin music superstars Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro have called it quits.
The couple, who announced their engagement back in March, began dating in August 2021 and going public the following month.
According to People, "sources say that despite the love and respect the singers have for one another, they have both agreed to end their engagement."
The news arrives just as Rosalía ended her year-long Motomami tour. On stage in Paris on Saturday, she addressed the crowd, saying, “Many of you discovered me thanks to this project, thanks to this album. I’m so thankful to all of you. I don’t know what the next chapter will look like, there are some ideas but I don’t know. Only God knows.”
Back in March, the couple collaborated on a three-song EP under the name RR that included the single "BESO."
At the time they described the project as a tribute to their love for one another. “For us it’s always love first and everything else later, but we skipped that this time so we could finish RR and share it with the world,” Rosalía said in a statement. “After more than 3 years these 3 songs are here and each one of them belongs to a different stage of love.”
