Looking for a Christmas gift for that hard-to-buy-for Rush fan?
How about 2112 - 40th, a deluxe reissue of the Toronto band’s 1976 album 2112 that comes with a bunch of extras.
The collector’s item includes the remastered 2112 album as well as live recordings and some previously unreleased material. There are also cover versions of 2112 tracks by acts like Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins, and Canada’s own Billy Talent (who do "A Passage to Bangkok").
The package is being offered as a 2CD/DVD combo and a 3-LP set but there’s also a “super deluxe” edition that comes with both plus two lithos (including a pencil sketch of a 1976 ticket stub from Toronto’s Massey Hall), a reprint of the Massey Hall flyer, and buttons featuring Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart.
Rush is also offering packages that include a T-shirt or skate deck or both!
It’s all available beginning Dec. 16.
Prices range from $35 to $258 USD. Click here for all the details and to pre-order.
