“I wish you were a pack of cigarettes,” Sara Evans sings on her brand new track. “‘Cuz you would have come with a warning.”

Evans co-wrote “Marquee Sign” with Jimmy Robbins and Heather Morgan and the recording features backing vocals by the singer’s 14-year-old daughter Olivia.

The song, aimed at an ex, is all about wishing there had been warnings.

“I should have known from the start that you were only here to break my heart,” she sings.

“Marquee Sign” will be included on Evans’ new album Words, which is out July 21.
