The JUNO Awards just added some big name talent to the show: Sarah McLachlan and alt-rockers Arkells will perform at the awards on Sunday, April 2.
McLachlan and Arkells will join electronic group A Tribe Called Red, pop singer Alessia Cara, contemporary storyteller Ruth B, multi-platinum singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes and alt-folk indie group The Strumbellas.
Arkells, who hail from Hamilton, Ontario, have previously taken home four JUNO awards. The band are up for two this year: Group of the Year and Rock Album of the Year.
During the broadcast from the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, McLachlan will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. The 49-year-old singer is also up for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year.
The JUNO Awards air live from Ottawa on CTV on Sunday, April 2.
