Shania Twain made the most Canadian entrance ever at Sunday’s Grey Cup halftime show in Ottawa.
With snow falling and prime minister Justin Trudeau in attendance, the country superstar rode in to the centre of the stadium on a dog sled, draped in glitter and a red fur coat, to greet 36,000 cheering football fans.
Twain performed three songs accompanied by a parade of red and white fireworks, opening with “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” followed by her latest “Life’s About To Get Good,” and finishing with her 1997 hit “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!”
As a finale, Twain exclaimed "I feel like a Canadian!"
The night’s festivities were a great warm-up for the five-time Grammy winner and top selling female country artist of all time, as she gets ready to embark on her next tour in 2018.
