Sharon Osbourne announced late Monday that she is currently isolated from husband Ozzy Osbourne after being hospitalized with COVID-19.
“I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for Covid 19,” read a tweet from the 68-year-old. “After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while The Talk is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy.”
No additional details about her illness were disclosed.
Last month, Ozzy told British GQ he would be “f**ked” if he contracts COVID-19 because he has emphysema.
“If I go out I wear a mask,” the 72-year-old rocker said, “but I don’t like wearing a mask, so I don’t go out much.”
Others in Ozzy’s universe who got COVID-19 include granddaughters Minnie and Pearl – the daughters of his son Jack Osbourne – and his Ordinary Man producer Andrew Watt.
