Canada’s Shawn Mendes, Drake and The Weeknd have earned nominations for this year’s Teen Choice Awards.
The first batch of nominations were announced Wednesday and voting is now open. The awards will be handed out Aug. 12.
Mendes and Drake are competing against Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan for Choice Male Artist while Drake takes on Cardi B, Childish Gambino, Khalid, Nicki Minaj and Post Malone for Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Artist.
Choice Song - Male Artist nominees include “God’s Plan” by Drake and the Choice Collaboration category includes “Pray for Me” by The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar.
Mendes has already collected four Teen Choice Awards and Drake has three.
