Ottawa’s RBC Bluesfest has unveiled this year’s line-up – and it includes a veritable mix of music genres.
Shawn Mendes, Foo Fighters, Beck, and Bryan Adams are among the acts announced Monday, joining the previously announced Dave Matthews Band.
The festival, which runs July 5 to 15, also includes Rae Sremmurd, Sturgill Simpson, Rise Against, Brett Eldredge, Jessie Reyez, Chromeo, Shaggy, and Jethro Tull.
“It's always challenging to put together a diverse yet compelling lineup, year in and year out, but this year we've definitely hit on some great names from a lot of different genres,” said Bluesfest executive and artistic director Mark Monahan, in a release.
“Since we've been stuck in quite a deep freeze this winter, I'm really looking forward to our summertime celebration of great music with the greatest music fans in the world.”
Bluesfest takes place on LeBreton Flats, just west of Ottawa’s downtown core.
A one-day pre-sale starts Feb. 15 at 10 am with passes ranging from $139 to $209. All other ticket options go on sale Feb. 16.
