Sigur Rós has been on the road for a little while now. The Icelandic rockers are ready to come back to North America for a blooming Spring!
The recent press release they've issued confirms that they will be performing as they have recently, "eschewing the string, brass, and other auxiliary musicians that have been a hallmark of live performances the past decade."
This part of the tour is geared towards smaller audiences, as they will mostly perform theaters with smaller capacities. On top of that, don't expect an opener. The band takes on the whole evening, playing two sets with an intermission in between.
May 28th will see them playing at Echo Beach in Toronto, and May 30th will be for Montreal's Place des Arts. Go get your ambient on!
