Snoop Dogg will be one of the torchbearers for the final leg of its tour through Paris leading up to Friday's Opening Ceremony.
The 52-year-old rapper made the announcement on his social media accounts, adding, "U gots to do it!! ππΏπΊπΈπ₯π₯ππΏπ₯π«π· Will u be watchin?? #FollowTheDogg #ParisOlympics."
The #FollowTheDogg hashtag will no doubt help fans keep track of his 2024 Paris Olympics activity, as Snoop is set to cover the event for NBC Sports as a correspondent. He's even been brushing up on his French.
Snoop confirmed that he is now in Paris, posting a shot of himself in front of the city hall Hotel de Ville with the caption, "U ready? π₯ Paris 2024 Olympics ya digggg ππΏπ₯"
He joins a number of big names that have taken part in the Olympics festivities. Earlier this month BTS star Jin carried the torchΒ along Rue de Rivoli near the Louvre Museum, while both CΓ©line Dion and Lady Gaga have been tipped to perform at the Opening Ceremony.
