Singer Solange Knowles revealed Wednesday that she was recently diagnosed with an autonomic disorder.

The 31-year-old shared the news in a lengthy Instagram post after pulling out of her New Year’s Eve gig at Afropunk Johannesburg.

“Still not sure what exactly or how much I want to share,” Solange admitted.

“The past five months I have been quietly treating, and working through an Autonomic Disorder. It been a journey that hasn’t been easy on me… Sometimes I feel cool, and other times not so cool at all.”

Solange said her doctors have not cleared her for a flight to South Africa.

She said other festival promoters have known about her health condition and kept it confidential.

Autonomic nerve disorders, according to the Mayo Clinic, can cause fatigue, dizziness, weakness and cognitive impairment.
