Soulja Boy said Wednesday he taught Drake “everything he knows.”
During an appearance on the Breakfast Club, the 28-year-old responded to a suggestion that Drake is the biggest rapper around.
“Stop playin’ with me like I ain’t teach Drake everything he knows,” said Soulja Boy. “Y’all ain’t heard Drake on his first song ‘Miss Me’ … that’s Soulja! That’s my bar! He copied my whole f**kin’ flow.”
Soulja, whose real name is DeAndre Way, also described himself as “the Godfather of rap.”
He explained: “It’s facts. It sounds crazy. When people sit back and listen, they be like, ‘Yo, this n***a crazy.’ No! I’m just that n***a and them just facts. It sounds so unbelievable that I done did it, but I really done did it.”
Soulja Boy also slammed Kanye West for “doing this goofy s**t.”
“Real street n***as and young kids like me, the younger generation, we lookin’ at you like you goofy, bruh,” he said. “You up here supportin’ Trump and s**t, bruh? What the f**k wrong with you, bruh? That s**t not right, bruh.
“My folks went through too much s**t for you to be out here doing this goofy s**t. … You gotta put on for the black community, bruh. This s**t not right.”
