The Spice Girls are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut single “Wannabe” by sharing an official fan video and the demo of a previously-unreleased ballad, “Feed Your Love.”
The song, co-written with Richard Standard and Matt Rowe in 1995, is included on a new EP that features the original “Wannabe” as well as a Junior Vasquez mix and a demo version.
“I get a rush when I look at you / There's a burning inside of me,” they sing. “I know just what I wanna do / for the rest of my life.”
Out digitally now, Wannabe25 will be available in physical copies – including cassettes and on vinyl – beginning July 23.
“Wannabe” was released on July 8, 1996 and quickly topped the charts around the world. The song helped make the Spice Girls debut album Spice become the best-selling ever by a female group.
