Rising country-pop star STELLA LEFTY has announced a North American tour for 2027 in support of her new album, The Long Way Home.
The 18-date Long Way Home tour kicks off in Detroit, MI on January 9 and features two Canadian shows: Toronto’s History on January 12, and Montreal’s MTELUS on January 15.
Fans can sign up here for the Artist Presale, which begins on Thursday, August 27 at 10:00AM local time, with the general on sale happening the next day, Friday, August 28.
The singer-songwriter, who is the daughter of Groupon co-founder Eric Lefkofsky, recently discussed her viral hit “Boston” with Vanity Fair, admitting she didn’t realize she had interpolated Noah Kahan’s song “Stick Season” when she wrote it.
“When I was writing the song, I wasn’t thinking about Noah Kahan,” Lefty says. “I was literally thinking about nothing at all.”
While she says the song is about her boyfriend, Nashville singer-songwriter Vincent Mason, fans began pointing out the similarities between her song and “Stick Season.”
After his representatives got in touch with her team, to avoid any legal action she ended up giving Kahan a co-writing credit before releasing “Boston.”
“I don’t want to step on anybody’s toes,” she says. “So I’m like, if this sounds like that, whatever, all good.”
