Stevie Nicks has finally put her spin on the viral “Dreams” video by TikTok user "420doggface208" (aka Nathan Apodaca).
Late Tuesday, the Fleetwood Mac singer made her TikTok debut with a clip in which she is lacing up roller skates while seated at a piano. A record player sits on the floor beside a bottle of Ocean Spray cranberry juice – the kind Apodaca drank in his original video.
Nicks sings along to the song she wrote for Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 album Rumours.
“Afternoon vibe. Lace 'em up!,” she captioned the clip.
Nicks had previously retweeted a link to Apodaca's video.
“Dreams” re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 this week after 43 years thanks to Apodaca’s video, which has been viewed more than 48 million times in its first three weeks online. The song ranks No. 21 on the chart. (It also returned to the Canadian Hot 100 this week at No. 19.)
Mick Fleetwood, who posted his own version of Apodaca’s video on TikTok, has publicly expressed gratitude for breathing new life into the song – and Ocean Spray gifted Apodaca with a pick-up truck to thank him for boosting sales of its juice.
