Sting is hitting the road in support of his new album — and he’s playing at intimate venues in three Canadian cities.
The music veteran announced this week that he will kick off his 57th and 9th tour at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver on Feb. 1.
He’ll then perform around the U.S. before popping up in Toronto on March 5 for a show at Rebel. The following night, Sting will take the stage at Metropolis in Montreal.
The North American leg of the tour will wrap up March 14 in New York City.
Fans who buy tickets, which go on sale Nov. 21, will get a free digital download of 57th and 9th.
It is the 65-year-old singer’s first album in three years and his first in the rock genre in 13 years.
Sting wrote or co-wrote all 10 tracks on the record and played bass, guitar, piano, and percussion.
