SUGA of BTS ran a 12K marathon on Sunday (May 17), just hours before the K-pop superstar joined his group on stage for their concert in Stanford, CA.

SFGate reports that the 33-year-old musician (real name Min Yoon-gi) took part in the annual Bay to Breakers race, reportedly waking up at 6:00AM to take part.

Videos of SUGA, who ran under the name Min Yunki, have appeared online, confirming his participation.

According to official records, he was successful in completing the 7.45 mile-long run, averaging a pace of 8:41 minutes per mile with a finishing time of 1:04:43. Overall, SUGA placed 1,022nd out of 20530 participants, which is... pretty good!

While he was able to return to Stanford Stadium in time to make the BTS show Sunday night, ARMY noticed that SUGA was performing with a slight limp, likely due to some cramping.

During a group livestream on Tuesday (May 19), bandmate RM revealed that SUGA is an avid runner who manages to regularly run 10k a day.

BTS will now head to Las Vegas, NV, before heading back overseas to Europe and the UK. They will return to North America in August, in which they will play their only Canadian shows at Rogers Stadium in Toronto on August 22 and 23.
