The Offspring and Canada’s Sum 41 announced on Monday they are hitting the road together later this year.
The bands will be joined by Dinosaur Pile-Up for the Canadian tour, which begins Nov. 12 in Halifax and runs until Dec. 2 in Kamloops, B.C.
Tickets go on sale Aug. 23 at 10 am local time.
The Offspring, who have been working with Canadian producer Bob Rock on their first new album in seven years, are this year marking the 25th anniversary of their breakout album Smash.
Sum 41 is riding high on the recent release of Order In Decline.
“I pick up a guitar and start writing and whatever comes out, comes out. If it’s good or bad it’s up to other people really to decide that,” frontman Deryck Whibley told iHeartRadio.ca earlier this year. “I don’t really know. All I know is if it makes me excited and want to play it live then I feel like I’ve got something.
“When I write songs I write with an electric guitar through an amp, I turn it up loud and try to come up with riffs. If it makes me feel like I want to start jumping around in my own house, then I’ve got something.”
