In a series of tweets late Tuesday that she has since deleted, SZA said her voice has been forever damaged.

The singer, who is part of The Championship Tour featuring Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q, tweeted: “My voice is permanently injured. Great” and “Tonight was the test. That settles that.”

SZA had just performed in New York City. The tour is scheduled to stop in Toronto on June 12.

Last week, SZA announced she was sitting out some shows due to issues with her vocal cords.

“I’m not sick,” she wrote on Instagram. “My voice just won’t f***ing work. If I don’t pause now I’ll be forced to pause permanently.”

In one of the deleted tweets Tuesday, SZA shared her frustration.

“I jus wanna be left alone my priorities are f***ed up. They been f***ed up. I need space goodbye.”
