T-Pain and Mark Zuckerberg have given the world the collaboration its been waiting for: an acoustic cover of Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz’s “Get Low.”
The 2009 crunk classic has been zuck-ified, with help from T-Pain (?), as a tribute to the Facebook mogul's wife, Priscilla Chan, specifically to celebrate their dating anniversary. They even made artwork for the track, which is the first (and let's pray, only) release ever by Z-Pain.
On Instagram, Zuckerberg posted an older photo of himself and Chan, with the caption: "'Get Low' was playing when I first met Priscilla at a college party, so every year we listen to it on our dating anniversary. This year I worked with @tpain on our own version of this lyrical masterpiece. Sound on for the track and also available on Spotify. Love you P ❤️"
Chan replied to the comment, writing, "Can’t get quite as low anymore but more in love and grateful for that love than ever. Love you MZ."
Understandably, T-Pain kept his excitement to himself when it came to promoting it, captioning his post with, "Z-Pain has arrived 🔥 Get Low by @zuck and me out now 🎶"
To give you a taste of what to expect, Zuckerberg sings lines like, "Three, six, nine, damn she fine / Hopin' she can sock it to me one mo' time" and "Y'all skeet skeet motherf**kers (motherf**kers) / Y'all skeet skeet God damn (God Damn!)" in full earnest mode, with a little help from T-Pain - you have been warned.
As Zuck mentioned, "Get Low" is available on Spotify, so keep it bookmarked so you can add it to your Valentine's Day playlists come February.
