Taylor Swift has pulled the plug on all of her 2020 tour dates due to COVID-19.

“I’m so sad I won’t be able to see you guys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision,” Swift tweeted. “I’ll see you on stage as soon as I can but right now what’s important is committing to this quarantine, for the sake of all of us.”

Swift was scheduled to do 10 shows in Europe between June 20 and July 9 followed by concerts in England and Brazil. (She was also in the line-up for Glastonbury, which was cancelled last month.)

The pop star also planned to stage Lover Fest shows at stadiums in Los Angeles and Foxborough, Massachusetts.

According to a statement that accompanied Swift’s tweet, tickets for concerts in Brazil and the U.S. will be honoured on new dates, which will be announced later this year.
