Taylor Swift appears on the cover of the new issue of British Vogue – but don’t expect to read a Q&A inside the magazine.
The pop superstar has instead written poems to accompany photographs by Mert Alaş and Marcus Piggott (the duo who shot her Reputation pics) in the 12-page feature.
“It’s been a while since I’ve done a magazine cover,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “I’m really happy my first one back was with such wonderful people.”
British Vogue editor Edward Enninful said Swift was emotional at the end of the photo shoot in London.
He added: “What struck me most about Taylor was her brilliant sense of humour, but also how, for a woman in her 20s, she has an incredible sense of who she is.”
Swift covers the January issue of the magazine.
