Taylor Swift has no plans to take a break any time soon. In fact, she has some words for her critics.
During her concert in Tokyo last night (February 7), Swift expressed her love and appreciation for her fans. She also addressed anyone who thinks she releases too much music.
“I’m over the moon about the fact that you guys care about my music, it still blows my mind,” Swift said. “Everyone’s like, ‘Why do you make so many albums?’ I’m like, ‘Man, because I love it. I love it so much.’ I’m having fun, leave me alone.”
During the three-hour show, Swift told the crowd that her original plan for announcing new album, The Tortured Poets Department, was to do it at the Tokyo Dome if she didn't end up winning Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 4). She also gave some details as to how she pulled off a new album in such a short span.
“I was gonna do it tonight in Tokyo,” she revealed. “I’ve been working on it for about two years. I kept working on it throughout the U.S. tour and when it was perfect – in my opinion when it’s good enough for you – I finished it and I am so, so excited that soon you’ll get to hear it. Soon we’ll get to experience that together.”
